Illinois Reopening for Full Service

First, we’d like to start with what’s most important—our sincere hope that this finds you and your family (both at home and at work) healthy during this unprecedented time. When this started early in the spring, I don’t think anyone really expected it would snowball as it has. Now as the state begins its phased approach to reopening, we remain ready to serve you with well-stocked inventory, convenient order placement, one hour will-calls and on-demand delivery.

Understanding that customer and employee safety is our top priority, we’d like to share what we’re doing to ensure the best and healthiest shopping environment possible:

HOURS
Effective Monday, June 1, our branches will again be open to customers with curbside pickup remaining an available option. Effective Saturday, May 30, we will be open normal business hours on Saturdays.

ORDER PLACEMENT
Ordering is available by calling, faxing, texting (messages and/or photos) and at the branch counter during business hours or through Web Order Entry 24/7. Click here to view branch locations and information.

WILL CALLS

Contactless Curbside Service
We are pleased to hear that so many of you value our curbside service. Although our branches will be open to the public, contactless pickup is still available to you.

Orders should continue to be placed PRIOR to arriving at our branch and you should call or text the branch upon arrival.

Once pulled, orders will be brought to your vehicle. The will-call or counter personnel will enter your name so you will not need to sign for your order. If you purchased large equipment, we will load it.

Branch Access
We’re also pleased to welcome you back inside our branches. It’s been a long couple months and we’ve missed seeing you at our counters. Based on CDC and state guidelines, you will notice a few changes.

What we’re doing to help keep customers and employees safe:
Our branches look a bit different with plexiglass sneeze guards at the counters as well as more formalized social distancing queues to stand in with clearly marked spacing on the floors. Hand sanitizer will be readily available at each entrance as well as the counters.

Munch’s Supply employees will be wearing masks. Cleaning and disinfecting procedures will continue throughout the day with extra emphasis on frequently touched surfaces.

What we’re asking you to do to help keep customers and employees safe:
Wear a facial covering inside our facilities.

Maintain a minimum 6’ social distance from staff and other customers by following the markings on our floors.
Follow CDC hand-washing guidelines when using our restrooms.

While our coffee, snack and vending machines remain closed, our water is available. Simply ask our staff.

PAYMENT
Orders can be paid on account or with cash, credit card or check.
COD deliveries must be prepaid with cash, credit card or check.

DELIVERIES
Deliveries will remain curbside only and drivers will unload without assistance. Please keep a safe distance away—at least six feet.
You will not be asked to sign for your order. The driver will enter your name and take a picture of the order for reference.

PRODUCT OR WARRANTY RETURNS OR EXCHANGES
We will process at the counter following our normal procedures.

We know that the past couple months have been stressful for everyone. Munch’s Supply is eager and ready to get back to business—the same business we’ve been doing for almost 65 years. It has been our honor to continue to partner with you providing essential services to homeowners and businesses at this difficult time. Essential Services Letter Template for Dealer Use (Michigan)

HVAC has been designated as an essential service during the COVID-19 pandemic. With that in mind, we have pulled together a “critical infrastructure supplier designation” template that many counties in MICHIGAN are requiring to use. While NOT required in Illinois or Indiana, we wanted to make it available to all. For your convenience, this has been created as an editable PDF that allows you to upload your logo and add company name, employee name and specific job details as often as needed.
